Clinic Details

Description

Learn the skills and techniques needed to access routes from the top of the pitch. During the clinic, attendees will practice belaying directly from a two-bolt anchor. Then, attendees are invited to climb up to a ledge to belay and lower a climbing partner. This clinic welcomes all skill levels, it’s best suited for climbers familiar with some core outdoor concepts.

  • Practice with setting up & belaying from above

Required Gear - you will provide this gear, The Boulder Garden does not supply harnesses

  • Climbing harness and shoes

Optional Gear - we will provide this gear, you are welcome to use your own

  • A locking carabiner for a personal connection, or a PAS/sling for personal connection

  • Petzl Grigri (any version) and locking carabiner, and additional carabiner for a redirected brake strand
