Description

Retrieve your anchor gear safely and efficiently by following these guiding principles for cleaning a two-bolt anchor. During the clinic, attendees will practice cleaning an anchor in a ground school context. Then, attendees are invited to climb up to the top of a route, clean an anchor with their belayer, and be lowered.

Required Gear - you will provide this gear, or rent it from Ruckus

  • Climbing harness and shoes

  • Belay device and locking carabiner

Optional Gear - we will provide this gear, you are welcome to use your own

  • A quickdraw, PAS, or 60cm/24”/2’ sewn sling & locking carabiner for a personal anchor

  • An additional locking carabiner
